I’m partnering with a forward-thinking engineering business delivering cutting-edge, prefabricated building services solutions across the UK & Europe. They’re investing heavily in digital engineering, and this role sits right at the heart of that journey.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing high-quality 3D parametric and fabrication models for MEP prefabrication, while ensuring seamless integration between SolidWorks and BIM platforms (Revit/Navisworks).
This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and manufacturing – with a strong focus on efficiency, standardisation, and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Creating detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for MEP systems
• Managing interoperability between SolidWorks and BIM environments
• Developing templates, libraries, and design standards
• Supporting and upskilling BIM teams on SolidWorks workflows
• Collaborating with prefabrication teams to optimise cost and material efficiency
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience in SolidWorks (3D modelling, assemblies, fabrication drawings)
• Exposure to BIM environments (Revit, Navisworks, IFC workflows)
• Background in MEP, construction, or prefabrication
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills
Nice to Have
• Mechanical Engineering or related qualification
• SolidWorks certification (CSWP or higher)
• Experience with modular construction or prefabrication
