Event First Aid Responder (Casual) - Evenings and Weekends
We are seeking experienced and qualified medical staff to support our event medical services during the busy festive season. Short-term assignments across our listed venues from 27th November 2025 through to 2nd January 2026. Regular commitment of 3-4 shifts per week, with shifts typically running from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, including evenings and weekends. Successful candidates will be working independently on site, providing professional, reliable, and high-quality medical cover for events and community activities.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality medical assessment, treatment, and care for event attendees, staff, and the public.
* Act as the first responder for a range of clinical presentations, escalating where necessary to ambulance services or advanced care providers.
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, following internal procedures and clinical governance requirements.
* Maintain readiness of equipment, consumables, and treatment space at all times.
* Communicate effectively with event organisers, colleagues, and emergency services as required.
* Represent us in a professional and approachable manner, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders.
* Uphold confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection standards in line with company policies.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* A minimum of FREC3 qualification (or equivalent)
* Demonstrable event medical experience
* Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
* Strong communication and professionalism when representing us
Desirable
* Higher clinical qualifications (e.g. FREC 4/5, EMT, Paramedic)
* Previous experience working alone in an event or community setting
* Familiarity with event safety frameworks and multi-agency working

* Nurses (NMC registered) - with acute / emergency setting experience
* Emergency Care Practitioners
* Paramedics (HCPC registered)
* Associate Ambulance Practitioners - AAP
* Emergency Medical Technicians - IHCD
* Emergency Ambulance Crew (NHS / SJA / BRC / FREC 5)
* Emergency Care Assistants (NHS / FREC 4 - with valid RCUK ILS certificate)
* Student Paramedics
* Ambulance Care Assistants (NHS)
* First Responders - FREC 3 / FPOS
* First Aiders - First Aid at Work / AED / Medical Gases
