Pharmacy Assistant – Dispenser or Technician
Hours of work: 28 hours per week. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00‑5:30 and Wednesday 1:30‑5:30.
Responsibilities
* Assist the pharmacist in operating the dispensary while ensuring customer service excellence and compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Provide a friendly and professional frontline welcome to patients on the pharmacy counter.
* Support the team as part of a small, hard‑working, compact group.
* Build relationships with patients and healthcare organisations to deliver effective, patient‑friendly service.
* Participate in the Day Lewis induction training and, if necessary, complete a pharmacy assistant course (3‑6 months).
* Assist in meeting the responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician and, where required, undertake the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians.
* Report directly to the Pharmacist Manager and contribute to the advancement of pharmacy services.
