Join Our Team as a Purchasing Assistant!

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Help clean up Purchase Order (PO) logs to ensure accuracy.
* Assist in managing Supplier Initiated Changes (SIC) that are piling up.
* Track order statuses and keep requesters updated.
* Log testing POs that are issued.
* Reach out to vendors to obtain manufacturing addresses, closing gaps in our Approved Supplier List (ASL).
Key Activities & Responsibilities
* Collaborate on cleaning up the Purchase Order log in Smartsheets, validating receipt of orders/services with requestors.
* Triaging and actioning Supplier Initiated Changes (SIC), creating actions in the MasterControl system, and following up with responsible parties.
* Support tracking Purchase Order statuses and provide updates to requesters.
* Engage with vendors to secure manufacturing addresses for our ASL.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
* Excellent written communication skills.
* Strong organizational abilities.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
