GSL Education are looking for a proactive and resilient Behaviour Support professional to join a supportive school in Rotherham. This rewarding role focuses on guiding students with behavioural and emotional needs, helping them thrive in the classroom and beyond. Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support: Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with behavioural needs. Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies. Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils. Support teachers in behaviour management and classroom engagement. Encourage confidence, resilience, and participation in learning. Assist during lessons and extracurricular activities. Requirements for Behaviour Support Role: Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural or SEN needs. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A calm, flexible, and patient approach. A genuine passion for supporting young people. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
