An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join Havenmere, a specialist care home in Immingham Lincolnshire for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.
Havenmere complex needs care home in Immingham, Lincolnshire specialises in supporting adults living with neurological conditions and neuro-disabilities including brain injuries and Huntington's disease, complex mental health needs and spinal injuries.
Our Nurse-led team has the skills and expertise to support people with complex needs including prolonged disorders of consciousness and behaviours of concern, and those who require tracheostomies, ventilators and PEG feeding tubes.
We require a part time or full time reliable, energetic Registered Nurse to work as part of our team. Full flexibility required across a 7 day week including 12 hour shifts.
Main duties of the job
In the role, youll be responsible for assessing peoples care needs, leading a small Care Team to deliver the highest standards of nursing care, ensuring safety for service users and colleagues at all times, and completing the required documentation to a high standard.
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate an excellent range of clinical and interpersonal skills and must be willing to teach and/or support other colleagues within the remit of their role and experience.
The post holder will be a good role model and will treat all colleagues, visitors and service users with dignity and respect.

About Exemplar Health Care
Havenmere is part of Exemplar Health Care, one of the country's leading nursing care providers.
Havenmere supports 38 adults living with complex and high acuity needs resulting from complex mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities, acquired brain injuries and spinal injuries.
The home has three 10-bed units, which provides a homely and welcoming feel, as well as a six-bed apartment and two one-bed apartments that promote independence.

About the role
This is a highly skilled nursing role where you'll be accountable and responsible for supporting peoples holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills.
You'll provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs. Our care focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. assessing, planning and providing person-centred nursing care for the people we support
2. the safe administration of medication
3. promoting health and wellbeing
4. being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift
5. managing situations when people display behaviours of concern
6. promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect.
