Senior National Account Manager Do you have proven experience managing top UK retailers such as Smyths, The Entertainer, Tesco or Asda? Macgregor Black are partnering with a Leading Toy Brand on the search for a Senior National Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in London. As the Senior National Account Manager you will, be responsible for leading a portfolio of strategically important UK customers across both Toy Specialist and Grocery channels. You’ll manage a team of Account Managers and take full ownership of the commercial performance across your accounts. This role reports directly to the UK Sales Director. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a small team of direct reports, providing coaching, support, and direction. Manage a portfolio of key national accounts: Smyths, The Entertainer, Tesco, and Asda. Build strong relationships with buyers and stakeholders across each customer. Own and deliver the full P&L across your account base. Lead joint business planning, promotional strategy, and seasonal range reviews. Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance to align plans and drive results. Monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and ensure flawless execution. Contribute to wider UK commercial strategy alongside the leadership team. What are we looking for? Toy industry experience is essential- you know the category, customers, and commercial levers. Proven experience managing major UK retailers – including at least some of: Smyths Toys, The Entertainer, Tesco, Asda. A strong people manager with experience leading direct reports in a commercial function. Excellent commercial acumen and comfortable with full P&L ownership.
