Key Responsibilities Depending on the needs of the University and your expertise, your work may include:
* Teaching and Learning (DL): Leading interactive online sessions via Zoom, engaging students through discussion forums, and providing prompt support and feedback.
* Marking & Assessment: Participating in standardisation exercises, undertaking formative and summative marking, and adhering to strict deadlines.
* Supervision: Providing high-quality supervision and guidance for student projects and dissertations.
* Authoring Content: Developing or revising engaging lecture and learning content, ensuring copyright compliance.
* Other Duties: Participating in meetings, peer reviews, and staff development activities to maintain teaching quality.

You will be an experienced lecturer with the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning. The following qualifications and skills are required,
* A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience teaching and assessing students within the UK higher education sector.
* Experience delivering student-centred teaching and, for DL roles, experience of teaching through distance learning.
* Up-to-date industry experience.
* Fellowship of Advance HE (or willingness to work towards it with Arden's support).
Desirable:
* A teaching qualification.
* For teaching at postgraduate level, a postgraduate qualification or equivalent.
