PMO Support Officer (PSO) - 12 month Fixed Term Contract
We’re growing and want you to be part of our journey. The PMO Support role coordinates and delivers a business project, working closely with the Technical Model Group (TMG) team and Project Manager. The PSO organises planning and execution of a project, including scheduling tasks, risk and progress management, stakeholder liaison, and monitoring finances and budgets.
A PSO acts as the driving force and has a direct impact on the efficiency and overall success of the project. This requires excellent communication, organisational skills, logical thinking and problem solving.
Responsibilities
Administrative & Logistical Support
* Manage project documentation (e.g., project plans, status reports, budgets).
* Schedule meetings, track deadlines, and coordinate resources across cross-functional teams (e.g., project, development, TMG and business).
Project Coordination
* Assist Project Managers in delivering projects and supporting the Technical Model Group (TMG) Team.
* Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with Isio’s financial and regulatory standards.
Compliance & Reporting
* Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks.
* Prepare progress reports for senior leadership, highlighting risks (e.g., regulatory changes, investment volatility).
Stakeholder Communication
* Act as a liaison between project teams, developers, and third-party vendors.
* Draft client communications (e.g., updates on projects).
Risk Management
* Identify and escalate project risks (e.g., data security issues, delays, inter-dependencies).
* Support audits and quality assurance processes.
Key Skills & Experience
* Organisational & Documentation: Manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and cross-team coordination.
* Project Support: Assist PMs/TMG, monitor timelines/budgets, ensure compliance.
* Compliance & Risk: Prepare reports, adhere to governance, identify/escalate risks (e.g., delays, security).
* Stakeholder Liaison: Bridge teams/vendors, draft client updates.
* Preferred: PM certifications (e.g., PRINCE2), financial sector experience.

Location & Working Pattern
This role is based in our Birmingham office. We work on a hybrid basis, with an expectation of 2–3 days in the office.
