Do you have a passion for supporting young learners as they take their first steps into formal education? We're looking for enthusiastic and flexible KS1 Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and work across Key Stage 1 classrooms in Selby primary schools.
This supply-based role offers a mix of ad hoc, short-term, and long-term placements-perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and are eager to make a real impact on children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Create a supportive and engaging learning environment for KS1 pupils.
* Work alongside class teachers to deliver inspiring lessons that follow the KS1 curriculum.
* Support children's development in reading, writing, maths, and essential social skills.
* Encourage positive behaviour and independence in line with school policies and KS1 principles.
* Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups based on specific learning needs.
* Assist with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and daily routines.
* Offer clear and helpful feedback to teachers about pupil progress and engagement.
