Technical Advisor – Customer Support (Additive Manufacturing)
Location: London
Are you technically minded with a passion for innovation and exceptional customer service? A pioneering organisation within the additive manufacturing sector is seeking a Customer Support / Technical Advisor to join their customer support function.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work at the cutting edge of digital manufacturing, supporting clients from various industries and playing a key part in maintaining the company’s outstanding reputation for service excellence.
About the Role
As a member of the high-performing customer support team, you will be the first point of contact for a diverse range of client enquiries, providing expert technical advice and ensuring orders are managed efficiently and professionally. You’ll help guide customers on best practices for 3D printing and be instrumental in maintaining high satisfaction rates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer queries via email, telephone, and internal systems
* Advise on customer files to ensure optimal printing quality
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical queries
* Represent the company at industry trade shows and events
* Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and share commercial insights with the sales team
About You:
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a client-facing technical environment, ideally with hands-on experience in SLS or MJF 3D printing or a strong background in digital manufacturing.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
* Confident with problem-solving and interpreting STL files using 3D CAD viewers
* Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional manner
* Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage tasks independently
* Dependable and customer-focused, with a commitment to maintaining long-term client relationships
