Full-Time, Alternate Saturdays
We are looking for a full-time Stores Person for our Gillingham branch. This position also requires deliveries being made between other branches in the region, so you will need to have a full drivers licence with no more than 3 points on it.
Daily duties include:
1. Working closely with all members of staff within the branch ensuring orders are picked correctly, efficiently and accurately.
2. Loading and unloading of deliveries manually
3. Picking and sorting deliveries
4. Stock checking
5. Speaking with suppliers and also other branches over the phone regarding stock
6. Some driving duties so valid drivers licence required
7. Must be literate and numerate
8. Have some computer skills for use of computerised system (training will be given)
9. Previous experience within warehouse environment
10. Must be aged over 25 years due to our insurers requirements.
11. Full manual driving licence to have no more than 3 points on it
12. Previous delivery driving experience essential
13. Knowledge of car parts would be helpful but not essential
