*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of children, ensuring they are safe, happy, and engaged. *Responsibilities* * Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of young children. * Foster a positive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. * Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development. * Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education. * Manage daily activities within the nursery setting, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. * Provide leadership within the team, mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development. * Collaborate with parents to support children's learning at home and address any concerns they may have. * Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education provided within the nursery. *Skills* * Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. * Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and guide educational practices. * Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. * Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. * Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing challenges within the nursery environment. * A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting resources or attending off-site activities.
