Are you a qualified Electrician looking for your next challenge in a unique and high-profile environment?
Dalkia is hiring a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our dedicated on-site team at Heysham 2 Nuclear Power Station. This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the UK's most critical energy infrastructure sites, where your expertise will make a real impact.
Your Role Will Involve:
* Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance across site facilities
* Performing routine and reactive maintenance on fixed electrical systems
* Delivering high-quality Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
* Conducting inspection, testing, and remedial works in both industrial and domestic settings
* Working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
* Ensuring all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and site protocols
What We're Looking For:
* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
* City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) – Test & Inspection
* Solid experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
* Commitment to safety and high standards of workmanship
* Previous work in a power station or similar regulated environment (desirable but not essential)
