We are currently recruiting for a Technical Designer to join a friendly and highly skilled joinery team specialising in bespoke projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for either: An experienced Technical Designer looking for a relaxed and supportive working environment, or A graduate Designer looking to begin their career within the joinery and bespoke furniture industry. Working Hours & Salary: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm Flexible working from home arrangements when needed; need to wait in for a delivery or sort an appointment? Simply take your laptop home and work remotely for the day Salary: up to £40k per year depending on experience This is negotiable depending on level of experience. About the Company: Our client is a well-established bespoke joinery business known for producing high-quality craftsmanship with exceptional attention to detail. Their projects include: Full bespoke kitchens Fitted wardrobes Staircases Doors & windows Custom furniture and interior pieces They work the even the smallest of detail, including handmade fitted/wall mounted wine racks, coasters, shelves etc. The company takes real pride in its work and has built a reputation for quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. The Role: You will be responsible for creating and developing technical drawings and designs using SketchUp (experience using SketchUp is essential), working closely with the wider team and clients to bring bespoke concepts to life. The ideal candidate will: Have experience using SketchUp Be detail-oriented with a strong eye for design Have excellent communication skills Be organised and proactive Hold some form of qualification in design; MSc desirable Ideally have experience within furniture, or manufacturing industries (preferred but not essential) Graduate applications are welcomed, if you are eager to learn and progress within your first role since your graduate degree.
