We’re looking for a People Change Manager to join our team in Spalding, UK on a 12 month contract.



The People Change Manager will lead and support people change initiatives and complex projects across the UK business. This role ensures alignment of workforce structure with long-term business strategy to drive optimal performance, manage costs, and meet legal and regulatory requirements. Working cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Internal Comms, and business stakeholders, the role will oversee project design and implementation, and workforce expansions. This position plays a vital role in delivering sustainable organisational change that supports the company’s strategic objectives and values.

Responsibilities include:

* Project Integration – Align HR change initiatives with business plans, due diligence, and governance frameworks for unified execution.
* Strategic Change Leadership – Define and deliver change strategies with clear risk mitigation and legal compliance at every step.
* Impactful Communication – Craft and coordinate clear, timely communication strategies across leaders, managers, and employees.
* Expert Consultation Support – Prepare leaders for employee engagement and consultation, ensuring full legal and procedural compliance.
* Flawless Delivery Execution – Lead end-to-end change delivery, from planning to implementation, with robust tools, materials, and manager support.
* Governance & Insight Reporting – Maintain accurate reporting, RAID logs, and senior leadership updates to ensure transparency and informed decisions.
* Capability Building – Upskill HR teams and managers in best practices, legal know-how, and effective consultation techniques.
* Stakeholder Management – Influence senior stakeholders and represent HR as the go-to expert in complex change programs.

Requirements

Experience we look for:

Essential

* Strong technical expertise across all core project types: redundancies, re-organisations, TUPE, outsourcing, site closures, and legal entity changes.
* Proven experience delivering large-scale or multiple concurrent change programmes.
* Demonstrated success supporting complex change across multiple geographies, including outside the UK.
* Experienced in leading works council and employee representative consultations.
* In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and change-related compliance requirements.
* Strong project management, change management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Advanced interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
* Excellent analytical and data skills, including use of Excel to intermediate level.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations.
* Self-motivated and resilient; able to drive change and operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
* Cultural awareness and the ability to tailor approaches for different populations.

Desirable

* CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification.
* Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, APMG).
* Experience working with international HR policies and employment frameworks.
* Exposure to digital transformation projects or HR system migrations.
* Knowledge of organisational design methodology and workforce planning tools.
