We have partnered with a global Microsoft Security Solutions Partner + MISA Awards Finalist to build their Security Business Development and Account Management team in an exciting new strategy.
They are a Microsoft first security business, also selling wider vendor services. As a Microsoft Managed and MISA member awards finalist, they focus on the larger SMC sector and Enterprise across multiple industries and now seek motivated Security BDMs to support their growth.
Ideal candidates are those already in a cybersecurity sales career, preferably with managed security and/or PS consulting experience, with connections at Microsoft to facilitate sales opportunities.
Requirements include:
* Experience and understanding of MXDR and professional security services/consulting.
* Ability to leverage tools and credibility provided by a MISA member organization.
* Proven track record as a new logo seller, with a desire to deepen security expertise.
They offer customer IP products, a global sales operation, and strong vendor relationships to support your success.
Managed Security Services include:
* Managed XDR
Professional Services/Consulting include:
* Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
* Purview Compliance/Data Governance
* Security Copilot
Responsibilities:
* Grow business within new accounts.
* Build relationships with prospective clients and vendors, including Microsoft.
* Create and manage sales pipeline across security services, consulting, and presales.
* Maintain contact with existing clients.
* Track metrics and performance.
* Understand customer security posture and identify opportunities.
* Advise customers on suitable security services and solutions based on expertise.
Key Experience:
* Full sales cycle experience, including closing deals.
* Experience with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Security stack and other vendor licensing models (MXDR, cloud, IAM, Purview, Copilot for Security).
* Proven ability to discuss solutions with customers.
* Ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets for security services.
* Experience selling MXDR/MDR services.
* Experience selling security solutions to new customers, including PS and MS.
* Interest in Microsoft or wider security vendor services.
