Start Date: May 2025
Position Overview: Teaching Spanish to students from KS3 to KS5, promoting fluency, cultural awareness, and engaging learning. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school activities are also expected.
Responsibilities:
* Teach Spanish language and culture using interactive methods
* Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
* Develop engaging lesson plans and assessments
* Maintain an inclusive classroom environment
* Encourage communication skills in speaking and writing
* Participate in meetings, events, and extracurriculars
* Communicate with parents about student progress
* Collaborate on interdisciplinary programs
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related
* Certification in Teaching Spanish (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 to KS5
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Motivational teaching abilities
* Experience with classroom technology is a plus
* Native or near-native Spanish proficiency
