We’re looking for a Measure & Quote Specialist to be the trusted face of our services, meeting customers where they are - whether in the showroom, in their homes, or on-site. You’ll assess each project, offer expert advice, and provide tailored solutions that meet their individual needs. This role is ideal for someone with a background in flooring or construction who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment and enjoys working closely with both customers and the in-store team to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored, customer-focused advice, guiding each customer through product options and installation services
* Offer expert recommendations on product suitability, installation methods, and potential upgrades
* Conduct in-home and on-site measurements for flooring and installable product solutions
* Deliver accurate, professional quotations with clear pricing breakdowns
* Collaborate closely with store teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
* Maintain detailed records and support job handovers to Installation Support and Customer Care teams
* Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing follow-up enquiries from customers, the store, or installation support promptly and professionally
* Assist in post-installation follow-up, including quality control visits and issue resolution
* Stay up to date with product trends and installation best practices
* Provide informal training and product knowledge support to in-store teams
* Support showroom sales and assist the customer service team as needed
* Travel to other stores and interstate as required
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in the flooring or construction industry, with a strong understanding of installation, sales, or quoting—whether in a retail showroom or as part of on-the-road measure and quoting. You’ll combine technical expertise with a customer-centric approach, consistently delivering excellent results.
* Confidence in measuring and interpreting floor plans and site drawings
* A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with customers
* Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical skills for precise measurements and calculations
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and offer practical solutions
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Proficiency with measurement tools and quoting software
* Tech-savvy, with experience using productivity tools
