Job Description
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm
South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting an experienced Joiner to support various works programmes within Building Services. You will need a flexible approach to managing varied workloads, carrying out all associated Joinery tasks including refurbishment and maintenance works.
You should be time-served with trade qualifications such as SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in the appropriate trade discipline, demonstrating sound practical technical competencies and high-quality workmanship. Experience in working within both commercial and domestic properties in the construction industry is required.
Knowledge and experience of all types of Joinery works in Public Buildings and Schools would be advantageous.
You should demonstrate a commitment to customer care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working to targets and timescales, with an awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
