Risk Analyst – Risk and Control Self-Assessment
Location: Brentwood or Manchester
We are looking for a Risk Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting our Group Head of Risk with the implementation, oversight, and enhancement of our Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and enhance the Group-wide risk framework.
* Support the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) cycle and ensure risk registers and controls are up to date.
* Provide independent review and challenge of RCSA submissions.
* Guide and advise internal stakeholders on RCSA requirements and best practices.
* Support risk training initiatives and twice-yearly board reporting.
* Ensure risk policies remain current and effective across all entities.
* Monitor regulatory developments and support board and ORSA reporting.
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience in a risk or regulatory environment.
* Familiarity with SM&CR, regulatory reporting, and delegated authority structures.
* Strong understanding of risk frameworks, the three lines of defence, and relevant insurance regulations.
* Relevant qualifications (preferred).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
