CLIMATE R&D INNOVATION DIRECTOR (full time or part-time) who will be responsible for leading Climate Research & Innovation at our exciting and dynamic global Research Institute in Climate areas that directly impact human HEALTHY AGING & LONGEVITY by advancing Preventative Health for the early detection and reduction of chronic Population Health conditions.
QUESTION 1 - Are YOU an experienced Climate “INVESTOR-OPERATOR ” with at least 5 years developing and spearheading CLIMATE R&D through the innovation lifecycle to deliver on successful commercialised Climate R&D Innovation in one of below areas:
Marine BioTech for Human Health)
Built Environment (e.g. materials / tech / other areas where there are direct Climate-Health impacts)
QUESTION 2 – Can you share evidence of an “Innovation- Investment Return” TRACK RECORD in successfully partnering/collaborating with philanthropic funding sources (non-govt) ; in the form of tangible IMPACT KPIs and/or FINANCIAL KPIs?
QUESTION 3 – Do you have at least 2 years in ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, ROBOTICS & HARDWARE for Climate innovation and applications?

Maroon Research Institute (MRI) is a U.S. headquartered non-profit corporation (with 501c3 status through administrator) advancing critical research, successful innovation to commercialisation lifecycle, and global strategic partnerships to advance R&D innovation supporting Healthy Aging & Longevity through its focus on preventative Health solutions for early detection and reduction of chronic Population Health conditions, and direct Climate Impact on Human Health. Climate focus is specifically in Blue Economy, Built Environment, Climate Impact on Health, and leveraging Artificial Intelligence to accelerate and amplify Climate impact.
MRI strategy in 2025 is the continued expansion of its network of MRI Innovation & Investment Hubs globally.
Time Allocation: Full-Time or Part-Time
Primarily virtual, however given large research component of position – it is helpful if the Director has some flexibility/ability to travel from time to time to manage and monitor physical research projects and partnerships
