Strategic Finance Lead (Place, Health & Adult Care, Children's & Young People)
Bury Council is seeking a Strategic Finance Lead to directly impact Bury's ambition to reduce deprivation, while fostering community pride, sustainability, and opportunity for all.
The successful candidate will be a finance professional with experience in managing and developing value-adding business partnering teams. They will lead and develop teams of Senior Business Partners and Business Partners to support senior stakeholders across their service and Members.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide financial information, productive challenge, assurance, and recommendations to aid decision-making.
* Champion culture change by embedding finance business and working with services to deliver innovative solutions.
* Support senior stakeholders across their service and Members.
Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant with experience in managing and developing value-adding business partnering teams.
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Exposure to working with the services mentioned is highly desirable.
