About the Role AsWorkshop Controller, youll be responsible for managing and coordinating all day-to-day workshop operations. Youll ensure thatservicing, diagnostics, and repairsare completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard while keeping customers and internal teams informed throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians to meet workshop targets forefficiency, productivity, and quality. Plan and allocate work to ensure balanced workloads and maximum output. Oversee all repair and service jobs, ensuring they meetmanufacturer and company standards. Monitor progress and communicate updates to the Service and Aftersales teams. Support recruitment, training, and continuous professional development of workshop staff. Ensure all Health & Safety, compliance, and company policies are strictly followed. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, productivity, and rework rates. Work closely with the Parts Department to maintain workflow and job completion. Promote a positive, customer-focused, and professional workshop culture. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as aWorkshop Controller, Service Manager, or Senior Technician/Team Leaderwithin theleisure vehicle or automotivesectors. Excellent leadership and people management abilities. Strong technical understanding of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair processes. Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. Organised, analytical, and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem solving.
