Join us on our improvement journey in Northern Lincolnshire and Goole towards 'Better Births'. There is a post for a Midwife with an interest in vaccination to lead on the implementation of the robust vaccination in pregnancy programme for eligible patients. You would have the opportunity to maintain all your skills as a midwife in a forward-looking service with staff that has the enthusiasm to improve care for women and families.
The unit has been awarded BFI Level 3 (GOLD). We have exciting opportunities for new and experienced midwives to join our established team of midwives at NLAG.
Responsibilities include:
1. Implementing a robust vaccination in pregnancy programme for eligible patients.
2. Assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care in various environments without supervision.
3. Supporting, supervising, and teaching less experienced staff in relevant clinical and non-clinical procedures and practices.
4. Working autonomously within the department/team within Trust guidelines and professional practice standards.
