SEN Behaviour Buddy - Waterlooville
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our client SEN primary school in Waterlooville as SEN Behaviour Support Buddies. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to pupils with specific behavioural and emotional needs, helping them thrive in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Contract Details:
* Location: Waterlooville (Hampshire)
* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract Type: Full-time
* Pay Rate: Minimum 13.96 per hour
* Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Requirements and Qualifications:
* A patient and understanding approach to supporting pupils with behavioural challenges.
* Strong communication skills to build trust and positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Enthusiasm for creating a calm and engaging environment for learning.
* A willingness to adapt and implement strategies to support individual needs.
* Self-reflective, with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn.
* Experience supporting children with behavioural needs is desirable.
Eligibility:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Provide two professional child-related references.
