Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time hours per week – Monday to Friday
Duration: 12 Months Secondment

What you’ll do


Background

Product Marketing sits within the Vodafone Business marketing team and the wider Brand & Marketing function. The team is responsible for designing marketing activation plans to maximise the growth of Vodafone’s various product portfolios. This will include the full suite of marketing activities (ranging from customer campaigns, digital marketing, case studies etc), you will design an end to end plan to grow Vodafone’s market share.

You will work alongside talented individuals within one of Vodafone’s product communities to disrupt our competition and drive consideration of our product portfolios. You will manage a full integrated marketing plan for the products and propositions within your portfolio and roll out across the UK market.

The role will work closely with the wider marketing functions to leverage resource, budget and capability across the different marketing disciplines and functional areas to deliver on the product marketing plan. You will be accountable for driving top of funnel marketing KPI’s, as well as activity delivering a commercial outcome. You will live and breathe ROI as a key measurement as to your success.

The Role

As a Marketing Manager for one of our product communities you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the following:


1. Strategic and tactical marketing campaigns to drive awareness and consideration of your portfolio’s product and propositions to attract new customers and cross-sell to existing ones
2. Activate collaboration opportunities with third parties to leverage Vodafone’s many partnerships to amplify the reach of your portfolio and maximise available marketing funds
3. Create and activate content, including customer case studies, that will drive a commercial outcome for the portfolio you are aligned to
4. Collaborate with digital to ensure that is an effective hub for your product portfolio and a seamless journey for our customers
5. All reporting including ROI delivery from marketing investment
6. All activities will require working cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Propositions, Social, PR. GTM, Group, Demand Generation, Data, Digital & Transformation and with external agencies.
7. This is a fast-paced and demanding environment, with multiple senior stakeholders and engagement across Vodafone Business. We are a team that encourage new ideas, share best practice and work collaboratively to remain focussed on delivering the right outputs for the right audiences.
8. Deliver a marketing plan with an optimal mix of content, events, thought leadership and customer stories that position Vodafone as the provider of choice for a distinct product portfolio
9. Drive the delivery of best-in-class marketing campaigns and initiatives that support the growth of your portfolio
10. Manage key relationships and collaborate cross functionally to champion the marketing plan for your portfolio and leverage resource and budget to support the delivery of this
11. Set key objectives for the marketing plan and activities, continually measuring their effectiveness and results to drive clear insight and ROI

Who you are

12. Confident and strong communicator who can influence with ease and can work in a constantly changing environment
13. Ability to translate business vision and strategy into a fully integrated marketing plan
14. Ability to translate often complex ideas into a language easily understandable by our customers
15. Strong understanding and experience of the full marketing mix and the principles of brand, customer targeting and insights
16. Ability to work in a matrix organisation and experience of multiple stakeholder management, including managing agencies
17. Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
18. Marketing / CIM qualification a benefit, but not mandatory
19. Strong telco / tech marketing expertise or experience of business marketing
