We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Paralegal to join our Residential Conveyancing Team based in our Lincoln office.
We are seeking an individual who holds a degree in Law or has equivalent relevant professional experience. Full training will be provided, but a genuine interest in residential conveyancing is essential.
The successful candidate will be motivated, resilient, and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. They will also be committed to delivering excellent client care and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with clients and assisting with enquiries relating to routine domestic and other conveyancing matters.
* Providing an ongoing service to existing clients and supporting client care processes, including file closures.
* Working with Partners and Fee Earners to support business development and contribute to the growth of Residential Conveyancing Department, including maximising cross‑referrals across offices.
* Supporting existing fee earners with a caseload of conveyancing matters; providing quotations; carrying out necessary searches; liaising with estate agents; producing standard contract documentation; and assisting with enquiries.
* Producing fee income in line with targets and completing fee‑earning work accurately and reliably in accordance with quality and risk procedures.
* Keeping up to date with changes in law and practice and maintaining strong, current legal skills.
* Maintaining accurate daily time records and assisting with preparation and dispatch of monthly bills.
* Preparing exchange, completion and post completion related correspondence and formalities. (To include Stamp Duty Land Tax, Companies House and Land Registry Registrations).
* Conducting research as required.
Candidate Profile
* Law Degree or equivalent work‑based experience.
* High level of competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Experience of working in a law firm and/or experience within conveyancing.
* Competent in using case management systems and Infotrack.
* Clear understanding of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations.
* Strategic thinker with hands‑on delivery capability.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to quickly establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability.
* Able to work with diplomacy and assertiveness.
* Discrete with the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
