Overview
We are looking to recruit an individual with lived experience of mental distress to fulfil a role as a Peer Digital Engagement Officer.
They must possess excellent digital and ICT skills, along with experience of teaching formally or informally ICT skills to individuals and groups.
Responsibilities
The Peer Digital Engagement Officer will offer comprehensive assistance and support to service users who wish to enhance their digital / ICT skills.
This will involve managing a digital learners group and supporting service users on an individual basis. The Officer will also support the Digital Assistant and will also play a leading role supporting learner needs with online training courses.
Project
The project is called Digi-Inclusion which is part of a service user managed project called Vocation Matters. This service provides vocational information and support to service users within the borough of Lambeth and is fully integrated into Lambeth Vocational Services.
