Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. Responsibilities
* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Manage and train kitchen and front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
* Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
* Implement and enforce food safety regulations to ensure compliance with health codes.
* Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
* Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and budget management.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events or menu changes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
* Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
* Previous experience in barista roles or hotel management is advantageous but not essential.
