The Role:
We are seeking therapists to join our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
You will deliver psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers within Walsall, both on a 1-2-1 basis and in groups.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with adults with significant and complex needs, focusing on engaging with parents regarding their mental health and well-being, while collaborating with the wider social care system involved with the family.
2. Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and delivering evidence-based, time-limited interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
3. Identify suitable mental health/psychological interventions for individuals and develop tailored interventions for parents based on their mental health needs, informed by professional knowledge and therapeutic models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.
Relevant experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialisms are required, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.
Driving is essential for this role.
