About the Role
They are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join the growing team. You’ll play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and supporting the delivery of high-quality builds. This is an excellent opportunity to work across diverse and inspiring projects, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate cost plans, budgets, and estimates for construction projects.
* Manage the measurement, valuation, and certification of works.
* Lead procurement activities and negotiate contracts for best value.
* Monitor project costs, identify risks, and recommend value-engineering solutions.
* Support contract administration and final account settlements.
* Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Maintain accurate financial records and produce cost reports.
Key Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within the construction sector.
* Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and tendering.
* Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Highly organised, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Able to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
