About the TeamThis role sits within our Global Trust & Safety and Technology Communications team and will work closely with cross-functional Product, Trust and Safety, Legal, Public Policy, and regional communications teams worldwide. This role will be critical in developing and executing global communications campaigns that proactively tell TikTok's story about teen safety and family support, with core responsibilities including campaign strategy development, creative storytelling, multi-market campaign execution, and providing communications counsel on consumer-facing safety initiatives. We're looking for a creative and experienced communications professional to join our Global Trust & Safety and Technology Communications team. This role will focus on global campaigns and proactive storytelling that brings to life how TikTok creates a safe, positive experience for our community, and teens in particular. Responsibilities - Develop and execute global communications campaigns that build brand trust and highlight TikTok's commitment to teen safety and supporting families. - Create blog posts, media pitches, and launch materials to amplify global announcements and initiatives, working closely with regional teams to adapt these announcements to markets. - Work collaboratively with Product, Trust and Safety, Legal, Public Policy, and other teams, providing communications counsel and support, ensuring message accuracy and consistency. - Train and advise spokespeople in preparation for media interviews, press conferences, and presentations. - Monitor consumer sentiment and cultural trends to ensure our storytelling remains relevant and impactful.
Minimum Qualifications - A/BS degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field - 5+ years' experience in consumer PR, brand communications, or creative agency - Experience working for an agency and in-house at a global company - Experience managing large-scale, multi-market campaigns from concept to execution - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English - Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects - Press office or crisis communications experience Preferred Qualifications - Creative storyteller with proven track record of leading global consumer-facing campaigns - "Global-first" mindset with ability to work across time zones and cultures - Adaptable, proactive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented working style - Highly analytical mindset with qualitative and quantitative research skills - Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting quickly to change - Ability to work well under ambiguity and be self-motivated - Strategic thinker with practical execution skills
