Job summary
This position is full time but part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Experience of working in a primary care setting is essential and the applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience of working autonomously.
In general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all of the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a Practice Nurse (Spirometry) working within Primary Care. The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients including;

Main duties of the job
YOU MUST HAVE:
* Qualifications:
* Diploma or Degree in Nursing
* Evidence of practice in respiratory care
* Current registration with NMC
* Knowledge and Experience:
* Recent respiratory care in either an acute or community setting.
* Spirometry procedure and interpretation.
* Feno testing.
* Managing patients with complex and/or long-term conditions.
* Understanding of Primary Care, including use of systems and processes, and particularly with regards to confidentiality.
* A commitment to maintaining your clinical skills and knowledge, to ensure our patients receive evidence-based care.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Excellent time management skills / ability to work to deadlines
* A full Driving Licence and use of vehicle.
Desirable
* Post graduate course related to respiratory care.
* Spirometry accredited course.
* Pulmonary Rehabilitation course.
