What you will be doing:
As Project Manager within the Base team, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects within the programme. Working under the guidance of the Programme Manager, you will ensure that project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and will coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of construction and refurbishment projects—from initial scope definition through to completion and handover—ensuring structural integrity and full compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards, and statutory safety frameworks.
* Collaborate with certified contractors and manufacturers to validate installations and secure all necessary documentation, certifications, and commissioning records.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision—balancing timelines, budgets, risks, and reporting requirements while maintaining momentum through strong leadership and communication.
* Cultivate trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation, apply sound commercial judgment, and take ownership of challenges from inception to resolution.
* Able to confidently use project management tools and adapt quickly to a fast-moving operational environment.
* Ensure project compliance with SHEQ requirements.
* Raise SAP transactions and seek approvals within DOA.
What you will bring:
* We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with comprehensive expertise across construction management disciplines with proficiency in; delivery assurance, milestone tracking, and risk escalation.
* You will be able to demonstrate a solid foundation in construction practices, UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and the full project lifecycle.
* Familiarity with defence infrastructure and MoD processes – would be a benefit.

* You will hold APM PMQ or prepared to gain qualification.
* Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Excellent organisational skills – you plan well in advance, sets clear objectives, reviews progress against plan, and encourage improvements.
