ATMS

Our ATMS business has heritage in the development, manufacture, sustainment and support of secondary surveillance radar technology. Out technology is relied upon to marshal more than two-thirds of the world’s air traffic due to its precision accuracy and ability to detect aircraft even within the most crowded airspace. Designed and manufactured in the UK, our products are exported globally to RTX customers in more than 45 countries.

Role&Responsibilities

About the role

The role will provide support to the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leaders with the development and management of project requirements, generation of technical documentation. Systems Analysis and Design work and participation in technical design reviews. Further, supporting the Systems Team in the generation of bid proposal material and submission of bids in response to customer requests.

Required experience

16. Proven minimum of 3 years in System Engineering

17. Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to certification

18. Experience with generation of technical documentation (internal and for customers)

19. Understanding of policies, practises and procedures, and the ability to communicate these to their team.

20. Ability to work autonomously, with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management

21. Ability to work within agreed timescales

22. Ability to work in a team and perform under pressure

23. Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or similar

Desirable experience

24. Knowledge of Air Traffic Management or Radar systems would be beneficial

25. Experience with Air Traffic Management or Radar systems would be beneficial

26. Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset

27. Experience with SysMl or UML in a Systems Engineering environment

28. Experience with configuration management systems

29. Membership / Chartership with INCOSE (or similar professional body)
