As a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, delivering the national curriculum, and supporting students' academic and emotional development. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of early childhood education and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. Responsibilities of Key Stage 1 Teacher: Plan, prepare and deliver creative and effective lessons to KS1 pupils Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress and development Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning Support pupils with varying needs, including those with EAL or additional learning needs Engage in ongoing professional development and school activities KS1 Teacher Skills & Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 across UK primary schools. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS1 Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Commitment to the academic and personal growth of all pupils Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Why Join GSL Education?
