Are you an ambitious Audit Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager looking to make your first move from practice into industry?

With revenues of approximately £40m and ambitious expansion plans, were seeking a technically strong ACA qualified Accountant who wants to build a long-term career in a dynamic commercial environment.
This role offers the ideal bridge between practice and industry. Youll initially lead a high-profile financial reconciliation and balance sheet integrity project, providing deep exposure to the business while applying your technical accounting expertise. As the finance function evolves, the role will broaden significantly, offering increasing ownership, commercial exposure and progression opportunities.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with senior leadership, youll play a key role in strengthening financial controls, improving reporting accuracy and supporting the next phase of business growth.
Your first priority will be to lead a complex reconciliation programme across multiple entities, systems and operations. This work will provide invaluable insight into the business and establish the foundations for your future development within the finance team.
As your understanding of the business develops, youll progress into a broader finance leadership role, supporting budgeting, forecasting, business partnering and commercial analysis across all operations.
Youll also provide guidance and oversight to a small transactional finance team, helping ensure strong controls and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead a group-wide balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation programme
* Investigate and resolve historical accounting discrepancies across multiple entities
* Improve reconciliation methodologies and strengthen financial controls
* Enhance the quality and integrity of financial reporting data
* Work closely with operational and finance stakeholders across international locations
* Partner with stakeholders across finance, operations and international teams
* Support audit readiness and strengthen financial governance
* Ownership of month-end and year-end financial accounting processes
* Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with statutory accounts and external audit processes
* Support cashflow reporting and financial controls
* Deliver accurate financial reporting to management and investors
* Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives

Essential Experience
