The opportunity
is in the employment tax team working closely with colleagues in the reward, mobility, and workforce advisory teams in London, as well as throughout the FS PAS region and with PAS and other service lines of the firm globally. The role is based in London, though we operate a hybrid working policy. We are looking to grow our Employment Tax team with an experienced Senior Consultant who can deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Your key responsibilities

Whilst the team's core skill set is in providing clients with traditional employment tax consulting and compliance services, its close integration into the rest of FS PAS provides a unique opportunity to work on various complex and challenging multi-disciplinary projects. This is achieved by being proactive, understanding their challenges and providing a relevant and high level of client service:
1. Local and global employment tax compliance and advisory projects
2. Specialist support to Global Mobility and Business Traveller programmes
3. Development and management of Cross Border Remote Worker programmes
4. Advising on contractor taxation and compliance
5. Advising on reward taxation in the UK and globally (working with shares schemes and regulatory reward professionals).
6. Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
7. Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contributing to winning new clients.
8. Assist in managing the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business-driven approach taken as well as managing team members to help deliver deadlines
9. Support with advising clients on UK domestic employment tax matters including, benefits and expenses reporting, termination payments, salary sacrifice, Off-Payroll Workers, PAYE, and operational payroll matters as well as international aspects with respect to employment taxes
10. Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for both EY and clients from the tax services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both client and the fir

22. Experience working in employment tax, dealing with compliance issues, and providing technical advice, as well as winning work in the market.
Ideally, you’ll also have:

24. ATT/ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA/Law qualification (or equivalent)
