Group IT Director @ Pertemps Network Group | Driving Strategic Growth through Technology
Pertemps is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our in-house technology team in Meriden. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising our in-house application solutions. These platforms are critical to supporting our recruitment business operations.
This role is hands-on and suited to someone with 5+ years’ experience in full stack development who enjoys delivering scalable, modern applications while contributing to technical leadership and knowledge sharing across the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain web applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
* Build responsive user interfaces using Angular (v16–18), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
* Develop secure back-end services with C#, .NET Framework 4.7, .NET 6 onwards (including .NET 8).
* Use Entity Framework Core and MS SQL Server for data management and optimisation.
* Integrate with Azure cloud services including Functions, Logic Apps, App Service, and Key Vault.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
* Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code aligned to coding standards and best practices.
* Drive quality through unit testing, automated testing, code reviews, and debugging.
* Optimise applications for performance and responsive design across devices.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements where valuable.
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years’ experience in full stack development.
* Back-end expertise with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/6+.
* Experience with MS SQL Server and relational database design.
* Familiarity with Azure cloud services (Functions, Logic Apps, App Service, Key Vault).
* Experience using Git for version control and working in agile development teams.
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of secure coding practices (OWASP, GDPR).
* Experience with Entity Framework Core.
* Familiarity with Azure API Management for secure API exposure.
* Experience with Azure Service Bus or Event Grid for messaging and event-driven workflows.
* Exposure to Azure Monitor and Application Insights for performance and error tracking.
* Experience integrating authentication and identity via OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Azure AD / Entra ID.
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
* Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
* Experience with Docker and containerisation (Kubernetes/AKS desirable).
* Familiarity with PCF control development (React + Fluent UI) for Catalyst customisations.
* Experience integrating Power BI into business applications.
* Awareness of microservices architecture and modern integration patterns.
