Overview
At WSP, you will contribute to landmark projects in the Energy Transition sector, working with diverse clients across the UK and overseas. Join a culture that celebrates innovation and diversity.
Responsibilities
* Deliver multi‑disciplinary services to support clients’ net‑zero portfolios.
* Participate in feasibility studies, technical, financial, emission and environmental assessments.
* Assist in engineering design, process modelling, construction management, and long‑term operational support.
* Help design projects such as green‑hydrogen plants, new CCGT plants, gas network upgrades, pipeline routing, onshore wind foundations, solar PV and battery storage projects.
Projects
* GREEN H2 generation plant design (PEM‑based).
* New CCGT plants design and installation.
* Upgrades to existing gas networks.
* Pipeline routing studies worldwide.
* Onshore wind turbine foundation design.
* Solar PV and battery storage design and review.
Team
The Energy Transition team delivers services across Low Carbon and Renewable Power Generation. Core technologies include Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, Onshore Solar, and Battery Storage. Day‑to‑day activities involve design, delivery, client engagement, stakeholder management, and commercial business development.
Graduate Development Programme
Two‑year blended learning experience with core business and professional skills training, workshops, networking, mentorship, and professional registration support.
Requirements
* Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a Master’s degree (Electrical or Civil Engineering).
* Flexible approach, appetite to learn and collaborate.
* Passion for consulting, structural engineering and design.
* Desire to solve problems and inspire with new ideas.
* Strong stakeholder collaboration and dynamic project adaptability.
