Job Title: Part-Time Payroll Administrator
Location: Thatcham
Salary: £23,.00-£25,.00 per year (pro rata)
Hours: 3 - 4 days per week, 24 hours
Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join their team. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and experience in an office or administration, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with processing payroll for 13 companies, with a total of staff members
2. Preparation of payroll data including new starters, leavers, sickness, holiday, and pay variations
3. Data entry of hours worked into the payroll system
4. Issuing and distributing electronic payslips
5. Supporting the HR Coordinator with processing SSP and SMP
6. Making declarations to the pension regulator and processing pension payments
7. Assisting the HR team with additional HR administration tasks
8. Dealing with any tax enquiries and preparing P11'ds
9. Checking the integrity of the HMRC gateway to ensure agreement with PAYE
Requirements:
10. Office experience in administration, payroll, or HR (beneficial but not essential)
11. Computer literate
12. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
13. Team player with a process-driven approach
14. Good standard of formal education with above-average literacy and numeracy skills
15. Sound knowledge of accounting basics and pensions is desirable
