Quality and Risk Coordinator

Salary: Up to £34,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
* Support the local management and coordination of incident reporting, ensuring timely documentation, review, and closure of incidents in line with policy.
* Assist in the investigation of adverse events, near misses, and complaints, contributing to root cause analysis and action planning.
* Coordinate internal audits, inspections, and quality monitoring activities across departments, ensuring action plans are implemented and reviewed.
* Provide administrative and coordination support for governance meetings, including the collation of papers, minute-taking, and follow-up of actions.
* Promote staff awareness of incident reporting, learning processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Maintain relevant databases, electronic systems, and records related to quality and risk activities.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Experience working in a quality, risk, governance, or clinical support role in a healthcare or regulatory environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, including minute-taking and report coordination.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and governance systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
