The Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is a resort hotel in the countryside, just 10 minutes from the town of Fleet and Farnham and 45 minutes from London. With a varied selection of restaurants focusing on use of local produce, banqueting for 200 and with 24-hour room service, our guests have a lovely collection to choose from.
About the role
As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the senior kitchen team in leading a section and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will have the opportunity to contribute to menu development, mentor junior chefs, and ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you will do
1. Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure consistent quality in every dish.
2. Oversee a designated section and support the Sous Chef and Head Chef as needed
3. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
4. Train, guide, and motivate junior kitchen team members
5. Support in menu planning and development with creativity and seasonality in mind
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

7. Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
8. Strong culinary knowledge and a passion for quality and creativity
9. Excellent organisation and time management skills
10. A collaborative, team-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
