Job summary
As InHealth continues to grow and thrive, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Endoscopist to join our clinical team in our brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Redruth which is due to open its doors imminently. You will work as part of a well‑established clinical team, in suites equipped with high‑quality equipment to ensure you have the best tools for the job. Our patient lists are well planned so you are not overstretched by slotting in extra appointments. You will provide outpatient support for clinics as well as undertaking endoscopy sessions in a well‑structured clinical environment.
Our advanced Gastroenterology and Endoscopy service provides a rapid examination and diagnosis service for patients in Redruth, with a focus on high‑quality treatment delivered quickly in clean and comfortable surroundings.
Responsibilities
* Provide outpatient support for clinics and undertake endoscopy sessions.
* Contribute to the rapid examination and diagnosis service within the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy team.
* Work within a well‑organised clinical environment to deliver high standards of patient care.
Qualifications
* A UK registerable Medical Degree
* GMC registration with a license to practice
* Entry on to the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery
* JAG Accreditation
Experience
* Demonstrate an exceptional level of skill in: Diagnostic Colonoscopy, Diagnostic Gastroscopy, Diagnostic Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
* Ability to undertake clinical audit of work and apply findings to clinical practice
* Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required to gain UK CCST
* Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of issues in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantive experience in the specialty
* Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
