Are you a passionate and experienced Store Manager with a love for garden retail? We are recruiting for a Garden Centre Manager to lead the team at a well-established, independent garden centre.
About the Role
As the Garden Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall running of the centre, ensuring excellent customer service, strong commercial performance, and a thriving team environment. You'll oversee stock management, merchandising, and drive sales while maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding service and expert advice.
2. Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
3. Oversee visual merchandising to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience.
4. Drive sales and business growth while maintaining profitability.
5. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including health & safety and compliance.
6. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the centre's reputation and customer base.
About You
1. Previous senior management experience in a garden centre or retail.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
3. Commercially astute with a keen eye for retail trends and sales opportunities.
4. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
5. Passion for plants, garden retail, and delivering a great customer experience.
