Job Opportunity: Support Workers
Location: Blackburn
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour (DOE) + pay rise after probation
We are seeking compassionate, flexible, and dedicated Support Workers to join our team, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
This role is central to promoting independence, well-being, and positive life outcomes through a person-centred approach underpinned by Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles.

What You'll Do
* Support individuals with daily routines, promoting independence, choice, and autonomy.
* Implement personalised care and PBS strategies tailored to each person's needs.
* Provide consistent emotional and mental health support, building trust and resilience.
* Encourage personal development and skill-building through structured activities and community engagement.
* Maintain open communication with the people we support, their families, and professionals.
* Keep accurate, professional, and confidential records and reports.
* Support safe travel to appointments, activities, and outings.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment that upholds dignity and rights.
* Take part in ongoing training and professional development.
About You
* Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health needs.
* Understanding of, or training in, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Confident with basic IT for record-keeping.
* Flexible and proactive with shifts (including waking nights and weekends).
