Deputy Ward Manager Band 6. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic nurse to join our team on Willow A ward as a deputy ward manager. Willow A is a large ward looking after renal/haematology patients. The ward takes patients from the acute medical unit, direct transfers from A&E and receives direct admissions from home.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our area and expand your skills. We are looking for a hard working nurse who is keen to pursue a career as a deputy ward manager.
Responsibilities
* Manage and provide all aspects of patient care, whilst acting in accordance with the code of professional conduct (NMC) and other professional guidelines.
* Assist the ward Sister / Charge Nurse in the smooth running of the ward and ensure safe staffing levels and skill mix by providing leadership and supervision as necessary.
