The Role
This position involves representing adoption carers - including grandparents, aunts, uncles and extended family members - in care proceedings. You will provide advice and representation in matters involving:

About You

* Ideally 1+ year PQE, although applications from all experience levels will be considered
* Strong knowledge of child care law, particularly care proceedings and special guardianship matters
* Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, client-focused approach
* Experience with legal aid eligibility and/or billing for legally aided matters
* Confident undertaking advocacy or keen to further develop advocacy skills
* A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment
