GCSE Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
1. Provide one-on-one tutoring for students preparing for their GCSE exams
2. Develop tailored lesson plans to address individual student needs and learning styles
3. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their understanding of key topics
4. Prepare students for exams by conducting mock tests and revising challenging areas
5. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to update them on student progress
6. Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and exam requirements
Required Qualifications:
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS)
2. Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects
3. Strong subject knowledge in relevant GCSE subjects
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to motivate and engage students
3. Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons
4. Patience and understanding to work with students of varying abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education or related field
Working Conditions:
1. Part-time hours, flexible schedule
2. Work primarily in a classroom or tutoring centre setting
3. Occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
